We carry a vast range of tooling which gives us the opportunity to manufacture a variety of non-standard sizes. Custom forming is specific to clients’ exact requirements and applications, minimum quantities apply.

Custom forming is the process of forming non-standard rounds, squares and rectangles or any profile shape required. The input pipe is fed through specifically calibrated die sets, which in various stages, form the pipe to the specific requirements. This process can be repeated up to three times to achieve the best possible result.
Customising the form of the pipe requires special tooling and machinist expertise, which we have available on site. We carry a vast range of tooling which gives us the opportunity to manufacture a variety of non-standard sizes. Steel Tube Services works closely with third party engineering companies to manufacture dies that we may not have, to ensure that our customers’ needs are always met.
